PART ONE OF THE EYE SHADOW LIST WAS STARTED JANUARY 2006. IT TOOK ME FOUR MONTHS TO PUT TOGETHER THE FIRST LIST & POST IT. JUST TO RECAP: I HAD BEEN SAVING EVERYONES EYE SHADOW COMBINATIONS FROM THE FIRST TIME I DISCOVERED THE MAKEUP BOARDS, TO GIVE MYSELF INSPIRATION, & I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT ANYONE ELSE EVER SEEING MY LISTS. THEY WERE ALL OVER MY COMPUTER & PRINTED OUT IN DRAWERS IN MY HOUSE. LAST JANUARY I DECIDED TO CLEAN THEM ALL UP & PUT THEM IN ONE LIST SO THAT I COULD REFERENCE THEM. I WAS TOTALLY STUNNED AS I WATCHED THE LIST GROW (& GROW, & GROW). I WAS PUTTING THE COMBINATIONS ALPHABETICALLY UNDER THE MAIN SHADOWS (MOTIF, EMBARK & WOODWINKED, WERE LISTED UNDER “M”, “E”, & “W”), BUT NOT LISTING THEM UNDER NEUTRAL HIGHLIGHTERS SUCH AS SHROOM (BECAUSE, YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE A LOT OF DIFFERENT COLORS FOR THOSE TOTALLY NEUTRAL SHADOWS). 2. Moth Brown into Anti-Establishment, Black Tied in the crease, blend w/ a 224 brush lightly dusted in Frost Pigment. This sounds ridiculous but, the smoky eye w/ a light dusting of sparkle looks really pretty.

2. Expensive Pink on lid, Apricot Pink Pigment on inner lid, Woodwinked on outer crease, Rich Purple Pigment smudged on lower lashes, Prunella to line lower lashes, Graphblack to line upper lashes.

1. Shimmersand Shadestick as a base, Pure Energy on the lid, Aria in the inner crease, Sultress on the outer crease, Fake in the center crease, Blacktrack to line w/ Sultress smudged along lower lashes. Smile Blush.

B-RICH (VELVET-LE)

1. Woodwinked (on lid), Retrospeck (over Woodwinked), B-rich (inner 2/3 lid), Sable (outer 1/3 lid), Cranberry over Sable & on crease, Dovefeather (contour), Vanilla (brow bone highlighter).

2. Phloof all over, B-Rich on the inner half of lid, Humid on the outer > & in the crease (blended well, fading into the Phloof! on the brow & B-Rich on the lid), Blackberry wet to line.

BAMBOO (MATTE)

1. Bamboo w/ Patina in the crease.

BAMBOOM PAINT

1. Rosemary & Thyme Eye Kohl on the lid as a base, Springtime Skipper blended on top, Bamboom Paint buffed in crease, Blacktrack Fluidline to line.

BARE CANVAS PAINT

1. Bare Canvas Paint as a base, Lightscapade MSF as an allover wash (lash line to brow), Coco Pigment on lid into crease, & to line lower lash line, Chanel Vega (Satin Taupe) in crease & outer part of lid, Knight Divine e/s used wet to line top lash line & a *wee* bit blended dry into the crease.

BEAUTIFUL IRIS (VELUXE PEARL)

1. Electra (all over lid), Beautiful Iris (outer 1/3 lid), Dazzlelight (brow bone highlighter).

2. Beautiful Iris on inner lid, Sumptuous Olive on outer lid.

3. Artjam Paint on the lid, Moth Brown on top, Beautiful Iris in the crease, Seedy Pearl to highlight.

BEAUTY MARKED (VELVET)

1. Goldbit on lid, Satin Taupe in outer >, Beauty Marked lightly in crease, Gold Dusk Pigment on brow bone. 2. Lid: Idol Eyes, liner/crease: Beauty Marked, highlight: White Frost Pigment.

3. Base: Macroviolet Fluidline, lower lid: Carbon fading into Beauty Marked on top of Macroviolet, crease: Nocturnelle, highlight: Seedy Pearl.

4. Lid: Passionate, undereye/crease: Beauty Marked or Carbon, inner corner: Idol Eyes, highlight: White Frost.

5. Luna CCB on lid, Vex all over lid & brow bone, Paradisco in crease, Beauty Marked to line.

6. My favorite combo to do is NightBird & With A Twist as a wash in the inner corners along w/ Goldmine, Dark Soul pigment in the crease & outer corners, Phloof on brow bone. I thought the other colors were going to be too neutral for me but I tried Gallant w/Till Daybreak & Beauty Marked in the outer corners & it looks beautiful!

BEAUTYBURST (SATIN-LE)

1. Magic Dust on lid, Moth Brown fading into Beautyburst in crease w/ Playful softening the outer edge of the crease, Point Black Liquidlast to line, Playful on inner corner under lower lashes.

2. Cedarrose Shadestick as a base on the lid, Moth Brown on top of Cedarrose, Beautyburst in crease, Whistle to highlight, Point Black Liquidlast to line.

3. Whistle on brow bone, Pink Couture Shadestick on lid w/ Beautyburst over it on inner lid, Playful on outer lid, Shadowy Lady to line upper lashes & a thin line of Point Black Liquidlast in the lashes, Playful under the lower lashes.

4. Mythology on lid, Swiss Chocolate or Beautyburst in crease & wet to line.

5. Vex all over the lid, Magic Dust as a brow highlight, Moth Brown in the crease, Beautyburst in the outer corner.

6. Chartru Paint, Golden Olive Pigment on lid, Beautyburst in crease, Vanilla to highlight, Graphic Brown to line.

7. Rose Gold Pigment on lid, Casa Blanca on inner lid, Goldmine on middle of lid, Beautyburst on outer lid & crease, Ricepaper above crease & on brow, Goldmine on lower lash line, Graphblack Technakohl on lower lash line. Ambering Rose Blush.

BEIGE-ING SHADESTICK

1. Beige-ing Shadestick as a base, Juiced on inner lid, Budding Beauty on outer lid, Cranberry to deepen crease.

2. Beige-ing Shadestick on the lid, Pure Energy over the Beige-ing, Primal on inner crease, Roustabout on outer crease, Macroviolet Fluidline w/ Primal smudged along lower liner. Goddess Blush.

3. Beige-ing Shadestick as a base, Amazon on brow bone, Primal on inner lid, Roustabout on outer lid, Pure Energy in crease, Macroviolet Fluidline to line w/ Primal smudged under lower lashes.

BISQUE (MATTE)

1. Bisque on lid, Bronze in crease, Carbon in outer >, Blacktrack Fluidline, false lashes (this was actually a look that a fellow freelancer had on the other day...she looked FIERCE!)

BITTER (VELVET)

1. Lid: Chrome Yellow, crease: Orange, inner corner: Bitter, undereye/liner: Swimming, highlight: White Frost Pigment w/ a *tiny* bit of Gorgeous Gold.

2. Bitter, Plumage & Tilt.

BLACK TIED (VELVET)

1. Moth Brown into Anti-Establishment, Black Tied in the crease, blend w/ a 224 brush lightly dusted in Frost Pigment. This sounds ridiculous but, the smoky eye w/ a light dusting of sparkle looks really pretty.

2. The best basic smoky eye is Mylar to highlight, either Phone Number Eye Kohl blended out & overlayed w/ Print on the lid or Smolder Eye Kohl painted on lightly w/ Carbon or Black Tied pressed on the lid, Satin Taupe in the crease... try it! Satin Taupe, on all but the darkest skintones (where the silvery mica goes ashy), is the loveliest, deep smoky-earthy transition shade between a clean highlighter & a dramatic lid color.

BLACKBERRY (MATTE)

1. Phloof all over, B-Rich on the inner half of lid, Humid on the outer > & in the crease (blended well, fading into the Phloof! on the brow & B-Rich on the lid), Blackberry wet to line.

BLITZ N GLITZ FLUIDLINE

1. Pack Moth Brown on top of Blitz N Glitz Fluidline (or Macroviolet) & blend like your life depends on it. One of the prettiest, most complex (but, secretly really easy) smoky eyes.

BLUE PEEP FLUIDLINE

2. Moth Brown on the lid w/ Blue Peep Fluidline in the waterline, it looks beautiful.

BOTANICAL (LUSTRE-LE)

1. Shroom/ Naked Lunch (on lid), Woodwinked (outer 2/3 lid), Amber Lights outer 1/3 lid), Botanical/Sunnydaze Pigment (contour).

2. Gold Dusk Pigment (all over lid), Softwash Grey Pigment (outer 2/3), Flashtrack (outer 1/3 ), Botanical (contour), Vanilla (brow bone highlighter).

3. Sumptuous Olive (on lid), Greensmoke (middle of lid), Nightlight Pigment/ Humid (outer 1/3 lid), Botanical (contour), Melon Pigment (brow bone highlighter).

4. Naked Lunch (on lid), Satin Taupe (inner 2/3 lid), Mulch (outer 1/3 lid), Botanical (contour), Retrospeck (brow bone highlighter).

BRASSY FLUIDLINE

1. Brassy Fluidline on the lid, Casino foiled over Brassy, Plumage in the crease, Brill to soften the edges of Plumage & on the inner corners, Vapour on the brow bone, Nylon over Brill on the inner corners, Plumage smudged under lower lashes, Blacktrack to line.

BRILL (SATIN)

2. Mylar on brow bone, Brill on inner lid, Shimmermoss in crease, Softsparkle Pencil in Peacocky to line.

BRONZE (FROST)

1. Vanilla Pigment on brow bone, Bronze on lid, Tempting & Woodwinked in crease, Pompous Blue to line lower lashes, Dipdown to line upper lashes w/ Pompous Blue in a thin line above that on the outer corner.

2. Bisque on lid, Bronze in crease, Carbon in outer >, Blacktrack Fluidline, false lashes (this was actually a look that a fellow freelancer had on the other day...she looked FIERCE!)

3. Gleam all over lid, Bronze in crease, Ricepaper brow bone, very very very very thin line of Blacktrack Fluidline on upper lash line, Lithograph fluidline for lower lash line.

4. Copper Sparkle Pigment on lid, Juiced on inner lid, Bronze on middle of lid, Coppering on outer lid & crease, Juiced above crease, Hush on brow, Auto-Orange Liquidlast on lower lash line. Foolish Me Blush, Enriched Refined Bronze to contour.

BROWN DOWN (VELUXE)

1. Shroom all over, Llama on inner lid, Brown Down in crease, Teddy to line.

BRULE (SATIN)

1. Brule on brow bone, Malt as a wash, Satin Taupe in crease, & Moth Brown blended on lid.

BUDDING BEAUTY (FROST-LE)

1. Beige-ing Shadestick as a base, Juiced on inner lid, Budding Beauty on outer lid, Cranberry to deepen crease.

BURNING AMBITION (MINERALIZED-LE)

1. Illusionary/ Burning Ambition – white gold side(on lid), Bright Side/Gallery Gal– olive side (outer 2/3 lid), Illusionary/ Burning Ambition – brown side (outer 1/3 lid), Woodwinked (contour), Retrospeck (brow bone highlighter).

CANTON CANDY PAINT

1. Canton Candy Paint as a base, Rose Pigment on lid, Gleam on brow bone, Sushi Flower on outer lid w/ a bit of Sketch to deepen the crease, Paradisco on inner corner, Permaplum to line, Plum l/l w/ VGV l/s, Peachtwist Blush.

CARBON (MATTE)

1. Mulch w/ Carbon, Amber Lights & Jest.

2.Knight Divine on lid, Carbon in crease.

3. Base: Macroviolet Fluidline, lower lid: Carbon fading into Beauty Marked on top of Macroviolet, crease: Nocturnelle, highlight: Seedy Pearl.

4. Lid: Passionate, undereye/crease: Beauty Marked or Carbon, inner corner: Idol Eyes, highlight: White Frost.

5. Motif as a highlight, Samoa Silk on the lid, Passionate & Swiss Chocolate blended into crease, Carbon to deepen crease.

6. Bisque on lid, Bronze in crease, Carbon in outer >, Blacktrack Fluidline, false lashes (this was actually a look that a fellow freelancer had on the other day...she looked FIERCE!)

7. Samoa Silk on lid, Cranberry in crease, Sketch mixed w/ a tiny bit of Carbon in outer >, Shroom as highlight, Blacktrack Fluidline.

8. I love Moth Brown all over the lid, Carbon in the crease & outer >, Vanilla Pigment to highlight.

9. CASA BLANCA (FROST-LE)

1. Rose Gold Pigment on lid, Casa Blanca on inner lid, Goldmine on middle of lid, Beautyburst on outer lid & crease, Ricepaper above crease & on brow, Goldmine on lower lash line, Graphblack Technakohl on lower lash line. Ambering Rose Blush. CASINO (LUSTRE-LE)

CEDARROSE SHADESTICK

1. Cedarrose Shadestick as a base on the lid, Moth Brown on top of Cedarrose, Beautyburst in crease, Whistle to highlight, Point Black Liquidlast to line.

CHARTRU PAINT

1. Coygirl Blush w/129, Mellow Rave Highlight w/129, Cloudbound on brow bone w/213, Chartru Paint w/242 & Golden Olive Pigment w/239 on lid, Viz A Violet Pigment w/224 in crease, Mint & Olive Softsparkle w/212 to line, Golden Olive Pigment on lower lashes w/242, Plum Soft Cremestick, Fun Fun l/s, Perky l/g.

CHARTREUSE PIGMENT (PRO)

2. Mylar or Vanilla as highlight, Golders Green Pigment on inner lid (Could also use Chartreuse), Sumptuous Olive in crease/outer lid, Velvet Moss on outer >-smudged.

CHILL (SATIN)

1. Shimma Paint as a base w/ 252, Chill on inner lid, Moonflower on outer w/ 217, Seedling on inner crease & Moonflower on outer crease w/ 224, Navy Stain & Moonflower to line. Fleurry Blush, Oak l/l, Flowerplay l/s & Prize Petal l/g.

CHROME YELLOW (MATTE-PRO)

1. Lid: Chrome Yellow, crease: Orange, inner corner: Bitter, undereye/liner: Swimming, highlight: White Frost Pigment w/ a *tiny* bit of Gorgeous Gold.

CLAIRE DE LUNE (SATIN-LE)

1. Pearl CCB as a base w/ 213, Cosmic on inner lid, Claire de Lune on outer lid w/ 252, Saturnal to line upper lashes w/ 219, Molten Sol Liquidlast to line lower lashes. After Dusk Blush, Chicory l/l, Solar Plum l/s & Crescent l/g.

2. Beige-ing Shadestick as a base w/ 242, Saturnal on outer lid w/ 213, Cosmic in crease w/ 275, Claire de Lune to highlight w/ 217, Molten Sol & Point Black Liquidlast to line. Astral Rays Glimmershimmer & Otherwordly Blush on cheeks, Creamola l/l, Honey Moon l/s & Elaborate l/g.

3. Luna CCB as a base w/ 242, Claire de Lune on lid w/ 213, Firespot in crease w/ 222, Claire de Lune on brow bone w/ 217, Auto-Orange Liquidlast to line upper lashes, Firespot to line lower lashes w/ 269. Otherwordly Blush, Oak l/l, Solar Plum l/s & Dark Flower l/g.

4. Flammable Paint on lid w/ 242, Firespot over that w/ 239, Saturnal on inner crease, Cranberry on outer crease w/ 236, Claire de Lune on inner brow bone, Cosmic on outer brow bone w/ 224, Blacktrack Fluidline w/ 269, Firespot smudged under lower lashes w/ 219. Ritzy Glimmershimmer & Otherwordly Blush, Stripdown l/l, Sunmetal l/s & Clear l/g.

5. Luna CCB as a base w/ 252, Claire de Lune on lid w/ 213, Cranberry in crease w/ Saturnal to deepen the crease w/ 219, Blacktrack to line w/ Cranberry smudged under lower lashes w/ 219. After Dusk Blush, Nighmoth l/l, Eclipse l/s & Elaborate l/g.

1. Foxy Lady Kohl makes a nice lip liner. 2. WTF? Loofah, Attraction, Fearless & Satin Pink. this makes an eye like you wouldn't believe for green eyed lovelies. 3. Nars Fathom & my ultimate favorite, Pink Venus(it is bright & glittery, but if you put it on top of a vanilla eye shadow & put a dark gray in the crease & blend very well, it looks AWESOME!). 4. I would use my #242 or 252 for lid & all over color, then the tip of the 275 for the crease & outer >, & then blend w/ the 224 w/ no color on the brush. You can also dab it in a little of one of the colors you are blending (tap off excess) & then use it so the colors don't lose too much um...color. hehe. hope this helps. 5. To enhance small eyes, line upper & lower (never inside). Use pale, shimmery, eye shadow. Curl lashes. To enlarge small eyes-Apply a medium-toned shadow (such as soft grey or blue) to the crease. Use a soft-colored liner (try taupe) on the top & bottom lash lines, extending the top line across the entire lash line & the bottom line from just under the iris to the outer corner. Apply light shadow on the eyelids. Apply more intense shades in the creases. Add lift to the outer corners. Sweep black mascara on upper lashes. 6. To enhance deep-set eyes, line upper & lower lids (never just upper). Choose light shadows -pale pink, peach or beige- of eye shadow. More intense shading on the brow bone also gives the eyes prominence. 7. Deep set: The key is to lessen the shadows on the inside corner & make the brow bone area look less recessed. Apply more base color at the inside corner of the lid. Apply contour shade out along lash line & in along crease, stopping just above inner edge of iris. Add a little more color under lower lashes from inside edge of iris to outer corner. Add accent color lightly along crease, blending well Line upper lashes from inside corner to just past outside corner, lower lashes from outside corner in to just below pupil, gently smudging. 8. When trying new products, skincare or makeup, never try more than one new thing at a time. If you have any problems you won’t know which product caused it. 9. The art of breaking the Milani/NYC loose e/s thingies:
You need a candle, a small screwdriver & some wax paper to catch any 'fallout'.
Warm the screwdriver tip over the flame. Hold the e/s container upside down. When the screwdriver is hot, poke it into the side of the e/s casing right near the base & angling towards the 'bottom'. It might take one or two tried to poke right through, but then you end up pushing against the bottom & it pops up & out. Empty into a new pot. I couldn’t get the screwdriver to poke through the plastic, so I just held the lit candle to the side of the jar & waited until it had melted enough that the plastic was "mushy" & then used a toothpick to pull out the little plastic disc on the bottom. 10. KA SSE:

11. Nars AAE-The satin finish side is gorgeous to use as a highlighter on skin that is NC25 & up most people wouldn’t think to use the SATIN finish side there. -If you like the look of a glossy eye but don’t want to bother touching up all night, I find that if I apply the satin side to the lid, the shimmer side to the brow bone, inner corner of eye & along the bottom lashes w/ a STIFF FLAT BRUSH & then use a small spray bottle that "mists" nicely to spray water over the shadows the pigments flatten & become 4-5 times as shimmery & end up looking more like gloss than shimmer. This tip also works w/ any metallic shadows. -My favorite neutral eye is: Satin finish on lid to just above crease & around eyes, shimmer side on brow bone, lightly. I then take Teddy Eye Kohl from MAC & smudge the liner into the top lash line. I use an angle brush to press a dark brown shadow over the teddy liner to set & create a smoky line (Embark from MAC). Curl lashes, tons of mascara. I pair this w/ a bronzy semi matte blush or bronzer (Laguna from NARS) & a hint of pink or golden pink blush on the apple of the cheek (Orgasm) I then line lips w/ Stripdown liner from MAC & apply Belle Du Jour lipstick to lips making sure to blend liner until its undetectable. Apply a creamy beige gloss to center of lips (Chelsea girls from NARS). If it's evening & I’m doing this face, I ALWAYS use Root CCB & Taupe Blush to Contour the face.                                                                                                                                                              12. First, are you going for the (a) Goth look, or just darker makeup? For the Goth look, use a foundation one shade lighter than you currently use. It'll help your face look a bit more pale/white. Use powder a shade lighter as well. No blush, or a very faint application. Don't forget to blend, or your neck & face will be different colors! Remember, you want to look pale. Okay, dark plum eye all on the lid, kinda up to the eyebrow, but not too much. Black eyeliner - liquid. Put it all around the eye, a fine line, but not too fine. Follow w/ black eyeliner - pencil. Put it on pretty thick all around, even on the rims. Smudge a bit w/ either an applicator or a q-tip. Get black (or really dark gray) eye shadow & put along the upper lashes & into the outer eye & into the crease, kind of like a sideways V. Put some of that eye shadow under the lower lashes, a bit lower, so you can definitely see it. You can also use the dark plum eye shadow under your eye if you don't want to go too dark. Tons of black mascara, so you can see your lashes. Personally, I'm going to use false eyelashes. I'm going to use a blood dark red lipstick, the darker blood red, the better w/out going to black. Now is not the time for being subtle... go heavy on the application.
13. Persepolis: Try pairing this duo w/ neutral shades like Madrague duo, Blondie or even Bali. Try a smoky eye w/ the brown Madrague shade & Bali & add one of the blue or green shades into the mix as liner close to the lashes & smudge. Also Placing black pencil under this will make it instantly wearable as it will deepen the tones to smoldering jewel tons... Also great as liner on they're own.                                                                                                                                                              14. Persepolis Duo - dark blue on lid w/ the other blue applied to outer corner w/ the shimmery silvery blue from Elsa duo on the very inner corner of lids
Iceland (the green side) washed from crease to brow bone & then Vanilla pigment applied to brow as highlight, lower lashes lined w/ Minted, upper lashes lined w/ tarnish, also smudged lightly into lower lashes, Deep Throat blush.                                                                                                                                                                   15. Lola Lola is also available in the Mogambo duo alongside Bengali which is also available as a single. I recommend the duo over the single unless you already have one or the other. They work excellently together & separately. Lola Lola is a shimmery slightly red brown, it looks great on its own or w/ other shades including AAE, Bengali, Lulu, & Key Largo duo. For a simple smoky look w/ this apply Black liner to upper lash line & smudge, apply black liner to inner rims & smudge into bottom lash line also. Place Lola Lola all over lid & overtop of black liner up to slightly above the crease & then carry around the color all the way around the eye.                                                 16. Bombshell is one of the very unique Nars colors, it's a platinum shimmer that is almost particle-ey w/out being crusty or sparkly like MAC lustre shadows can be. Its texture allows it to easily layer over other colors to make them almost look glossy. This shadow was used on Madonna in the "Rain" Music video along w/ the Madrague duo & black moon pencil (Francois Nars did the makeup for Madonna back then) & it looked incredible on here. I also love layering it over dark colors w/ a damp brush to create shiny looking dark eyes. On bare skin this product looks incredible too, but I prefer to use it over a tiny bit of concealer or cream shadow to pick up its shimmer a touch.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 17. I put some pigment on my brush & spray the brush w/ Fix+. I use them over Bare Canvas paint.                                                                                                        18. The trick to using matte pigments is to wear a neutral matte wash shadow under them...they blend like butter on top of another shadow! I used Jane Mythology (almost totally matte, sheer whitish color, doesn't really show up on me at all) from my crease up to my brow, then used Landscape Green on the lid & blended up into the other shadow! I've tried using them wet & I have a really hard time w/ that unless I'm using them as a liner or doing a really painted-on look.                                                           19. Pertaining mainly to black shadow...since it can be harder to blend as we all know (esp. if it is matte). A way to cheat is by using a taupe-ish colored e/s (like MAC Wedge) & blending the edges out w/ that. When the taupe hits the black it will create a grey & make it look beautifully blended. Also, to prevent fallout w/ black (or any darker shadow)...my trainer took a tissue & got a little of a light nude CCB (like Shell or Hush) & after he loaded up the brush w/ Black Tied, dabbed the bristles of the brush onto the CCB on the tissue & it just sorta grabs the extra powder that didn't cling to the brush hairs. Make sense? It works more efficiently than just tapping the brush.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               20. I'm in the habit of doing a reverse shadow on the eyes. Normally I would take Amber Lights lash line to brow well blended & then in the inner corner draw a straight line (w/ Trax for example) from the inner point of the eye to the brow & blend outwards. It creates this smoky contoured intense look...it really defines the eyes & if you use subtle colors it's a nice effect.                                                                                                                                                                                                            21. Dip the wand in mascara, then the pigment, do the eyelashes, clean mascara wand & do the other eye. Don't dip the wand into the mascara w/ the pigment on it, it'll clump like nuts. I also rubbed a little pigment on the wet lashes w/ my finger, just at the tips of lashes. The result is adorable! Coco Beach mimics the tones of my auburn hair, so it's like the mascara does its job of making my lashed big, curled & glossy & the pigment makes them look more natural. Can't figure out how else to explain it. It doesn't look over sparkly or powdery on the lashes, more like my eyelashes have highlights. Really cool.                                                                                                22. Smoky Eye: you'll need 3 coordinating shades of e/s (light, med, dark), & one highlighting shimmery e/s (like a shimmery white or light beige.)

1. Use the light color as a wash on lid, & brush it below your eye as well.

2. Brush the medium shade on your crease & blend up so that you can see it when you open your eyes so that there are no harsh lines. The slightest tinge of color should stop just below the brow bone.

3. Use an eyeliner that corresponds to your e/s colors to draw a thick line on your upper lid.(Draw this as thick as you would like the darkest part of your eyes to be.) Then brush the darkest color over the liner, & pull it out to create a > to connect the e/s on your lash line w/ the e/s on your crease. Blend blend blend.

4. Apply the light highlighting color on your brow bone & in the inner corner of your eyes.

23. Add Vanilla Pigment to your foundation to give it a soft glow. Start w/ a very small amount & then add more if you want to. It will get chunky if you add too much, too fast. 24. BE's Celestine Glimmer as an allover wash, BE's Black Ruby liner shadow on lids, blend in crease, wet Black Ruby liner shadow & line under lash line, then smoke out w/ smudge brush, use black mascara & VOILA...Smoky burgundy & beautiful... 25. Perfection: Nars Key Largo Duo, lined w/ BB Bronze shimmer gel liner on green eyes. That's all. 26. I apply my foundation, then blend any streaks w/ a non-latex sponge.
I apply concealer to spots using MAC's 219 brush.
Under eyes, I use Revlon CS concealer, followed by L'oreal Air Wear Brightener, set w/ LM Secret Brightening powder.
After that, I buff PX Magic loose powder into skin. I apply my bronzer anywhere the sun would hit.
Then I buff MAC Belightful Iridescent powder onto high planes of face.
Finally, I apply MAC Blot anywhere I need to subtract shine (sides of nose, forehead.)
I usually apply blush w/ either a contour or fan brush. 27. The #3 Bronzer Trick!

You need:

-Your favorite bronzer

-Large, fluffy bronzer brush

So all you have to do is brush on a number 3 on each side of your face w/ your bronzer brush...this is how you do it. Start at the highest point on your brow bone & pull the brush in a "3" motion to your cheekbone, (that will be the middle of the 3), then finish your "3" w/ the brush going back up your cheekbone & down your jaw line. Repeat on the other side of your face. This will create the illusion of a real tan, because this is wear the sun naturally hits you. Then just dust a little bronzer on the bridge of your nose.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      28. Currently, I am in love w/ Studio Tech (all over again!) since it is sooo hot here in the Desert S.W. & it keeps mattified & hydrated at once. My favorite application technique is to apply M.A.C moisturizer first, then, using a sponge or a powder puff, PRESS a little Mineralized Skinfinish (like Gold Deposit, So Ceylon or the new Shooting Star) on cheeks, bridge of nose, upper lip & chin. PRESS the powder glow on & let it set before feathering Studio Tech on over w/ the Tech sponge. It still has a "matte" appearance since the sparkle is underneath, but there is a luscious glow going on! Try it!                                                                                                         29. A homemade version of MK Satin Hands:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           My hands feel amazing!! Like baby soft skin! I quote member KChagnon:
"I do like the effect of satin hands but someone once told me of a way to do the exact same thing at home for FREE. You put a decent dose of oil on your hands & rub it in. Then take a tablespoon of sugar & rub that in as well, concentrating on the cuticles & other really dry, flaky spots. Add some liquid hand soap like Soft Soap or even Palmolive & rub that whole concoction together & rinse. Then apply your favorite hand cream. Same result w/ basically no cost."
I used jojoba oil, brown sugar & soft soap in the brown sugar scent. The smell was amazing. Then I used my Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Cream. My hands actually look younger. I am not even going to bother to try the real thing now.                                                                                                                                         30. I’m an MA outside of working for MAC & I highly recommend the kits made by Il Makiage. They are out of this world. Kevyn Aucoin trained & practiced on them for years. I own all the eye shadow books, & cream foundations which are made for photography & TV.

Using 3 shades of shadow on hooded eyes: I prefer mattes for this, so it doesn't appear too made up. The darkest shade on the lid & into the "crease" slightly, the 2nd lightest shade which should be about 1-2 shades darker than your skin used to blend the darker shade into the lightest (bone) shade under the brow. Very thin liner.           32. Colors that work for brown/hazel eyes: All That Glitters, Bronze, Velvet Moss, Patina, Sumptuous Olive, Sketch, Satin Taupe, Vex, Mulch, Shale, Tempting, Sable, Smut, Plumage, Moth Brown, Greensmoke & Trax.                                                                                                                                                                              33. Color that work for brown eyes: Bronze, Goldmine, Sumptuous Olive, Cranberry, Amber Lights, Melon Pigment, All That Glitters, Nehru, Gleam, In Living Pink, Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Swimming, Stars n Rockets, Shimmermoss, Violet Pigment, Sketch, Tilt, Aquadisiac, Vex, Flashtrack, Electra, Casino, Humid, Beautiful Iris.             34. For the most flawless red lips, use a flat liner brush & softly apply a small amount of concealer along your lip line to provide a crisp edge to your lip color. By neutralizing any surrounding tone your perfect red will pop, regardless of the color.

1. Red Enriched l/l & Dubonnet or Burgundy l/l & Dubonnet.

2. Viva Glam w/ Auburn Lip Pencil is a beautiful "Southwestern" red.

3. Russian Red Lipstick w/ Cherry Lip Pencil...its perfect together.

4. My favorite red lip is Viva Glam w/ Burgundy l/l. For a glossier look add Viva Glam VI l/g just in center of lips.

35. Use a highlighting pencil right under the eye brow, w/ a wider sweep near the end. Blend, emphasizing the natural curve of your eye. Use a silver shadow on the lid & the inner corner, a deeper grey on the socket crease, outer corner & near the lashes. W/ a taupe shadow, pick up a small amount & work it into the crease area. Continue until the area is well defined, w/ lots of attention to the blending process. Using your eyeliner make the line narrower in the inner corner & wider on the outer corner. It gives an upward slant & an almond shape to the eyes.
